At a seminar held at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Indian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Venu Rajamony, published his book entitled India and the Netherlands, Past, Present and Future.

In the presence of the Netherlands Queen Máxima, the King of the Netherlands, Willem-Alexander, got the first edition of the book entitled India and the Netherlands, Past, Present and Future.

The book is described as “a cross-cultural legacy encyclopedia between India and the Netherlands” that “highlights India‘s significant position in the Dutch world view and the relationship between the two nations secured by strong economic links and vibrant exchanges in the fields of culture, sport and yoga.”

The Dutch King and Queen are expected to make the third official visit of the royal family to India on October 14, during which time they are expected to visit the exhibition ‘Indo-Dutch encounters during Rembrandt’ at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Museum in Mumbai, as well as Kochi’s former Dutch colony.
